10月15日，澳大利亚麦格理资产管理公司（MAM）宣布以400亿美元价格出售旗下Aligned数据中心业务。该数据中心总部位于美国得州，拥有遍布北美和南美共计50个数据中心的业务网络。

在麦格理公司持有Aligned的7年期间，这家数据中心企业成长为全球最大的数据中心运营商之一。

麦格理公司负责人本・韦（Ben Way）称，决定将Aligned出售给贝莱德及微软等投资者，并非针对数据中心行业或人工智能领域发出警示信号。

当前，全球企业正加大对数据中心的投资，并增加先进芯片采购，这推高了OpenAI等科技公司的估值。与此同时，市场对“这种投资热潮可能催生泡沫” 的担忧也在加剧。据摩根士丹利数据，谷歌母公司 Alphabet、亚马逊、Meta、微软等主要科技公司，今年预计将在人工智能基础设施上投入4000亿美元。

Aligned目前已投入运营及规划中的数据中心总容量达5吉瓦。麦格理公司表示，400亿美元的交易价格对应的是Aligned的企业价值，但未披露该价值中股权与债务的具体构成比例。

该计划宣布次日，麦格理股价上涨5.13%，创下7月以来的最高水平。该股价涨幅远超澳大利亚标普/澳交所200指数（S&P/ASX200）0.9%的涨幅。

United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby said on Thursday that the federal government shutdown could hurt bookings if it continues.

And that's going to start to impact bookings."

柯比指出尚无法确定开始产生影响的具体时间节点，但补充道“每过一天，美国经济面临的风险就增大一分。因此我们希望避免这种非受迫性失误”。

Kirby said there isn't an exact cutoff for when the airline could start to see an impact, but added "every day that goes by, the risk to the U.S. economy grows. So I hope we will avoid an unforced error here."

据外媒报道，10月16日，总部位于瑞典的音乐流媒体平台Spotify宣布将与索尼音乐、环球音乐、华纳音乐三大唱片集团，以及独立音乐授权机构Merlin和数字音乐公司Believe联手，共同打造“负责任”的人工智能音乐产品。

According to foreign media reports, on October 16th, Spotify, a music streaming platform headquartered in Sweden, announced that it will be partnering with Sony Music Group, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, as well as independent licensing agency Merlin and digital music company Believe, to create “responsible” artificial intelligence products.

尽管未透露具体研发中的AI工具，但Spotify在声明中表示正“重金投入AI研究与产品开发”，包括新建AI研究实验室和产品团队。

Although the company did not confirm any specific AI tools in development, Spotify said in a release that it is making "significant investments in AI research and product development," including a new AI research lab and product team.

It is reported that the entertainment industry has expressed rising concerns over harmful AI use infringing on artist copyrights during the AI boom.

UMG CEO Lucian Grainge said, "It is essential that we work with strategic partners such as Spotify to enable Gen AI products within a thriving commercial landscape in which artists, songwriters, fans, music companies and technology companies can all flourish."
